Are you having an issue with your Afterpay or Laybuy account
We're so sorry but you will need to get in touch with Afterpay and Laybuy directly to help with these issues. They do offer very good support though!
What shipping companies do you send with?
New Zealand domestic orders are primarily sent with Courier Post. Roof-Top tents are sent with Owens. International orders are sent with DHL and NZ post.
How long does shipping usually take?
Please allow 1 business day for pick and pack from our warehouse. Our daily order cut-off for sending orders out is 1pm. Standard NZ orders the courier will deliver overnight, but it is safe to allow 2-3 business days for every order. If you live at a rural address, please allow and extra 3 days for the item to be delivered. However, if you require the item quicker it is advised you send to the local post office or courier drop off point and pick up from here. Australian standard order delivery times will vary depending on the location. We see most deliveries arriving in 3-4 business days from dispatch to urban city addresses. some Australian rural addresses can take upwards of 10 business days to arrive. International orders can vary, and we provide estimated times at the checkout cart.

Do you sell & ship to international countries?
Yes, we sell international! Our main dispatch centre is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, we can send most products excluding the Armourdillo roof-top tent and spearguns. We also have a dispatch centre in Sydney Australia that holds only Australian relevant stock e.g. Armourdillo tent and snake proof gaiters.
Please note: international countries exc Australia may have tariffs,tax or duties to pay, these are not Bushbuck Outdoors responsibility. Please read our international Shipping terms and Conditions to understand more.
Is there international tax, GST or tarrifs on my order?
If you live in NZ or Australia this will not apply as we have registered companies in both these countries. Orders shipped outside of New Zealand or Australia may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Bushbuck Outdoors (“Bushbuck Limited”) has no control over these charges, nor can Bushbuck Outdoors predict what they may be.

Do I qualify for free shipping?
From time to time we run free shipping campaigns. The terms and conditions of the free shipping vary from campaign to campaign and will always be outlined either on the campaign email or on the website. Free shipping sometimes only includes New Zealand urban addresses.
How can I track my order?
When your order is dispatched you will be sent an email with tracking details on it. There should be a clickable link which will take you to the order tracking section of the respective carrier. If you have any issues with tracking your order do not hesitate to contact us email@example.com
It says my order has been delivered but I can't find it, help!
If this is the case, we will need to lodge an investigation with the courier for you. This can take 2-3 business days to be completed from when we are contacted. If you require your items urgently, you can reorder them whilst you wait for the investigation to be completed.
What is your refund/return policy?
Bushbuck is committed to providing quality products supplied by Bushbuck Limited (NZ) to all our customers both nationally & internationally. You have 30 days to decide if the item is right for you. We will refund any item(s), provided that the item(s) has not been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn and that all labels and tags are attached.

Do I qualify for a refund under warranty?
Bushbuck gear is tested in New Zealand's rugged outdoors and designed to last the distance. We trust our gear completely, so all Bushbuck products are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.
Normal wear and tear, the natural breakdown beyond the reasonable life of the materials and components, modifications or alterations, damage caused by improper use, improper maintenance, improper storage, negligence, accident, or damage as a result of use of the product for which it was not designed.
Bushbuck is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or other types of damages arising out of, or resulting from the use of this product.
To assess your warranty claim we need to see firstly photos or videos of the fault and if accepted we will need the actual product and it needs to be clean/washed before you send it back.
This warranty policy supersedes all previous warranty policies. It does not limit your protection under relevant consumer protection legislation.
Why do we need to see the product in person to do a formal assessment?
Our Christchurch based repairs team are experts in assessing damage and faults. On the rare occasion that an issue should arise with your Bushbuck product, they are the people best equipped to make a recommendation on how to address it and resolve it quickly. We prefer to have our repairs department review all claims so that each is treated fairly and consistently. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause with you being without the gear for a period of time while it is assessed, but it helps us to ensure that you receive the best possible treatment and end result.
I've got waterproof zips on my jacket/pack, but water is still coming through. Is this covered under warranty?
Our PU-coated zips are water-resistant as opposed to fully waterproof. Water-resistant zips keep out most of the rain while remaining easy to operate, however if exposed to prolonged rain, moisture will come through. Fully waterproof zips are seam sealed to ensure they lock out all moisture. When you are purchasing a waterproof garment or piece of equipment, look to see whether the zips are water-resistant or waterproof.
My zip doesn't close anymore, what do I do?
One of the most common issues one can run into is a zip slider that doesn't work properly. When the zip keeps splitting after trying to close it, it's time to have a look at the zip slider. Often a quick fix will solve the problem in no time.
Use a pair of pliers to gently squeeze the opening in the slider together (where the teeth go through) and see if the zip will close correctly now. Be careful not to squeeze too hard as this will prevent the slider from moving altogether and can damage the zip. Gently apply force to both sides evenly. Try a little first and put a bit more on if the teeth still don't come together.
This should keep the zip going for a bit. If the slider fails again, contact Bushbuck to see if you can get it replaced.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards being authorised in real time, all in an SSL secure environment. The Hosted Payment page enables us to offer customers a safe and speedy online shopping experience.
DPS is committed to protecting the security of your data. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities secured by the latest in surveillance and security technology. When we transmit sensitive information (such as a credit card numbers) over the internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Credit card details stored on site are encrypted using 168bit 3DES encryption. DPS is also certified AIS compliant.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. Can you disclose my personal information?
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Can I order an out of stock item and put it on back order?
No, we do not put items on back order unfortunately.
If you have ordered an item that has sold out, you will be contacted by our customer services team via email to discuss options.
How do I leave a review on a product?
If you have purchased a product and wish to leave a review, you can so by going to the product page on the website and placing a review under the review tab.
Can i pre-order Bushbuck products?
Yes a Pre-Order button will be found on products that we offer pre-order. We do this for products that we know are on their way to NZ and know the Estimated time frame they will arrive. pre- orders get sent out as soon the stock arrives at our warehouse.
Are your products made in China & offshore?
Bushbuck is a NZ owned and operated company, all our gear and products are designed here in NZ by our team in Christchurch. The gear is tested here in NZ and most importantly every aspect of the product has been considered to enhance quality and endurance for the outdoors.
Like most products in your home and on the NZ market our gear is made in China so that you can receive a quality product, using high end materials and technology at an exceptional price which we pass on to you. We have seriously considered making some products such as clothing/jackets In NZ. The reality is that all the fabrics and zips and chemical treatments all come from Asia the only difference is the place it is produced : ).
